How does someone who has never heard of a concept defend it so vehemently?

We told you about this back in January [Tennessee: Muslim American Center hijacks Black History month] and a reader sent in the video above reminding us that she lead the effort to support sharia law in Tennessee.
Remziya Suleyman, Director of the Muslim American Center for Outreach (MACO), told her audience (around minute 44) this past June that even though she didn’t know what sharia was, she was going to defend it. “I never knew the concept of sharia…I called imams across the state and I was like guys what is sharia? I gotta go talk to politicians.” She also brought Hamas-linked, unindicted Holy Land Foundation co-conspirator CAIR to Tennessee to assist her.
Comment: This is a very important story for a couple of reasons: first, the spokesperson for Islam in Tennessee intentionally misrepresents the facts, the truth; second, she sounds like your neighbor and brushes off the fact " I didn't know what sharia was, I had to ask my mother". For the uniformed, the ignorant, those folks most suseptible to the "down home" voice, you could actually believe wha this lady says. The inconvenient truth is that she knew full well what sharia is, how it is implemented and with holds that information during her presentations. One more form of infiltration.
